Are you merry this Christmas? Alan asked as he opened the front door to the extra loud knocking and talking coming from out side of his front door? Welll, welll, welll, I'm not surrree??? they stammered.....with a sly smile. It was only Rosanna and John and their kids whop were just coming up the foot path from the car, parked out front of their home.
Both John and Rosanna were drunk again, and their three children were cold and hungry looking again. Hellen came to greet them at the door as Alan stepped aside to let them in. The Melton family were always like this at this time of each, especially for the past seven years. And it was becoming a drain on their freinds and relatives to continually see them in this very sorrowful condition.
Sadly though this is the same type of problem at this time of year, and just as unfortunate, it happens all year round in many an Australian household and with various family homes and relations.
Many an Australian would know about the purpose and reason as to why this particular time of our calender year is to be sen as more precious than most other days of the year, as much as they would know the purpose behind the easter Holidays earlier in the year. And it is one of the most contested times as well.
If any Australian two hundred years ago were asked why is this time of year so special, you would have been told, that it is to celebrate the arrival of the baby Jesus of Nazareth in to the world, as he is the actual Messiah who is going to save all of the world and mankind from their own self destructiveness, which is what Jesus had done, as he brought Christianity in to being more fully than even the Jewish nation could ever imagine. But to the man and woman and child who actually has the genuine claim to being one of Jesus' effectually called and chosen people would be even more happier to say that it is to celebrate the fact that God is, and does exist, and that He is the God of all creation and God above all other so called gods, and exists out side of time and history and has kingship over every thing that happens in the world and in creation and in time for HIs predestinated plans for His predestinated purposes and people; where by He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus (Where the Word became flesh), into the fabric of time and history and existence to save His People from them selves and from Sin which binds up and controls their very nature, character, and soul of every one in the world. To bring them into heaven with HIm and the godhead, on the last day of existence in creation as ther last day of Judgement where by He will judgfe both the quick and the dead, forever more. Where by some will be in heaven and eternal glory with Him and those others will end up in eternal hell and damnation.
Though these are the basic foundational tenets of His Word in Scripture, it is this time of year that celebrates the very essence of the truth of these things. Jesus as the Word of God which took on human form (our human form and our totally fallen nature, sin and soul), by being Holy Ghost inspired to be born (to enter into the world in this way), in the manner of all of humanity in the womb of an ordinary woman of the blood line of Adam and Eve, and of Noah, and of Abraham and of Issac, and Jacob, and of David, and so on (see the book of Matthew chapter one for the chronology of the blood line of the seed of God's promise to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, as well as the blood line in Luke chapter one as well) , m,ade it the certainty that God has fulfilled His promise to himself, which He made to Adam and Even and their royal seed and blood line ever since the fall of mankind, from the moment of that fall.
It prooved beyond doubt that God is and is for ever, and He has provided the means for the freedom of His people whose names are in the Lambs Book of Life in Eternity. It also provides us all with the main reason as to why all of mankind all across the world, and from every generation of mankind since the fall of Adam and Eve six thousand years ago, should take this time out from their daily lives to celebrate this very fact.
Man kind's religions which we have practiced since the day of the fall of mankind by Adam, including the religion of denial, and hatred and Satanism, and necromancy, and agnosticism, and evolutionism, and feminism and Darwinism, psychaitryism, and of every other forms of man made disgust against the very existence that God is, and is the one and only God of all creation and mankind as well, abound in this God's world, for us, are thriving in the hearts, m,inds, bodies and souls of every one through out every generation of mankind since those days, six thousand and seven years ago.
None of us can ever avoid this truth, and it is why that God's Religion "Christianity" is so fought against and reviled and tried to be out lawed from living memory of every one upon the face of this world from those ancient of days. It is also the reason why, every religion including islam is so fierce against it, and is always taking up arms to kill, and mutilate any Christian man, woman and child who refuses to give up God and Jesus Christ and their
(HIs religion) religion, as their Lord and saviour and justifier and mediator and godhead -
It is also why, every nation is against the Jewish tradition of being a part of God's chosen people and Christianity at the same time.
Christmas is not just about letting by gones be by gones and lets all start over a new as of the thirt first day of December, the last calender day of our year. It is also the reason why every nation knows that it is at this time of year that the rest of the world stops to celebrate a special thing for all Christianity. during the fighting of World War One, the German's were fighting the allied soldiers and on this one day and for the next three days they stopped all hostilities and the killing of each other and they came out of their trenches with many presents and wine and ofers of freindship as they walked out on to the killing fields between the two lines of the batle front, and they reached out their hands to their enemies to
celebrated with each other this moment of Christmas.
Easter is also a momentus time of the year as well, for much of the same reasons, and ebcause it is the time when Jesus on the cross stated a perfect fact "It is done" that He had fulfilled His promise to Adam and Eve and to Noah and to Abraham and to Isaac and to Jacob and to David all the way down the line of history and of the lineage of God's Seed since the fall by Adam. In these things God in himself was doing the most perfect honour to himself and to His Word and to His Chosen People whose names alone are in the Lambs Book of Life, as a betrothal of a Man would try to do for the woman he is in love to want to marry. He must first do certain things in preparation for his actual wedding day, and he must do them in a certain manner or his wedding ceremony become just a show piece of humanity, rather than it being the actual fulfilment of God's love and honour to himself and to His predestinated chosen people, as they are revealed in His Holy and Divine Almighty Word of Scripture. Again it is these two main celebrations that makes all of the rest of the world to stand still and take notice of a divine and God insdpired truth, that He is and does reign in all things and is above all things and all of creation.
The eternal truth of these things we have with us, from the moment God breathed into man, in Adam, and we became an eternal living being human in form and nature with the eternal and divine goodness and righteousness in us, from that time on. It is also the reason as to why, we know that there exists in us that divine truth in its moral form in us in that ever present knowledge of eternal hope, which also exists in us combined with the eternal moral truth.
Just because we all have a living knowledge of the aspects of such things as being either good and evil, and of an eternal living hope, and godly judgement, and godly commandments in which we should all be living by; does not negate the fact that we in our totally fallen human nature and soul, despise any knowledge of God and knowledge of the existence and being of God.
If we are to have type of peace of mind and of conscince and of soul, there are certain ingrained ideas and behaviour patterns and worship practices we need to completely abandon, or else we will never be able to prevent our selves from repeating the mistakes of our ancestral past of the days since the fall of mankind in Adam through to the days before God warned Noah to build an Ark for a small Seed of mankind to remain in the earth and in the world by a world wide flood.
For it is a certainty, that no man, woman and child likes to be judged by any one, to have some how broken either a spoken law or a non spoken law, let alonean unheard of law. neither do we relish having to face a judgement of guilty against us, nor a penalty which costs us more than what we can afford to pay off, in some way. And especially we don't like to have a death sentence placed up on, for any law which others (let alone any of God's Ten Commandments), say we have broken enough to warrant a verdict of death against us. And it is no wonder why, Men adn Women in all of the ages want to find any way possible, either by a connivance called "Ignorance" or another one called "A non educated person", or a thing called "An illiterate person" or another one called "mentally disturbed" or another called "Grave Emotional and Mental Disorders" or another called
"Delusional and Ilusional deterioration" and another called "A Defect in our make up which can produce such episodes in us at some point in time" or another one called It is due to his and or her childhood that has produced this sort of person in our society" and many another which covers such things as "It's in his DNA and gentic make up and when we find the exact DNA then we will be able to delete it from their DNA make up and they won't be like that any more, neither will be their off spring too."
Those days are quite well documented in the first ten chapters of the Holy Bible and I suggest you buy the Authorised King James Bible to be your Bible from now on. As it is always very difficult to get our heads (consciences as delivered to us through our soul),
around the fact that we have to give up all of our well known and bred ideas which we have accumulated over the previous six thousand and seven years. And even more so since the coming of the Word of God in the Flesh in Jesus of Nazareth, and since his crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection and ascencion back up in to heaven, as the way in which He had prpeared the way for His Bride and chosen people.
Today is just three days before that celebrated day the twenty fifth of December of this year the year two thousand and seven is to be celebrated, one more time, before Jesus comes back to raise the quick and the dead, for that last judgement. I ask all of you to take the time between now and then as well as in the days to come to cinsider again once more the basic requirement that God has stipulated to all of mankind, "Repent and Believein the Gospel of Jesus my Christ, which I brought in to the world as the savour of the world, from this day on - or you could be sentenced to my eternal wrath, hell and damnation."
It is an apparent truth, for all of us to take God's Commandment in these two things to be obedient to them, from now on, because accountability is firmly laid at our feet, every day and night of the year, and none of us can afford to waste time in being obedient to these two commandments from God.
May you turn to God in Jesus His Christ, now - or for ever hold your tongue against God and those who have and are about to.
May this ady be the richest day of your life, because you did turn to God and become abedient to His Commandments from this day forward. Amen.
