Beyond Oblivion

Capturing ones own imagination may be an impossible task for any of us. Yet there seems to be a part of us that is for ever wanting to end up in oblivion. And yet what is Oblivion? Is it an island some where in the world? Is it a farm some where in the north of the country? Is it a place on a coast line some where? Is it another planet which is as yet not been found nor named? And there is always some one talking about it, or joking about it, or screaming about it, as if it is a real place. But is it!
What type of place is this oblivion? How big is it? And how wide is it? And how deep is it? And what type of place is it, that people from every walk of race some how in their imagination desires to want to go there and live there, seemingly for ever. Is it a hot place to live in? or a mild place, or a place of the tropics? And does it have plenty of water, and shelter, and food sources for every one to eat? And who owns oblivion? And how does some one get there? What sort of map do we need to have to help us get there safely enough? And how do we buy this map? Or ask some one to loan us their copy of the map to oblivion? And what is the price of getting there and of staying there? And how can any one afford such prices? And is there anything beyond oblivion? Or is it all make believe!
How many times over the last five thousand years have we heard either a friend, or family member, or a stranger make the comment “I just want to go to oblivion” or “I just want out, to get to oblivion, or I want to end up in oblivion, or he is oblivious to any thing going on around him, or she is oblivious to every thing going on around her, or she was in so much pain till she entered into oblivion, or he was in so much pain before he entered into oblivion, or it is better for him to stay in oblivion till he is fully recovered?” Well as amazing as it sounds, there seems to be a place called oblivion some where, and it seems to be in certain peoples imagination. And yet how can it be a real place!
Where can we go to and who can guide us to such a place, and is there some beyond oblivion that we have not even tried to fathom as yet. Today we are in the year of our Lord Jesus after His death and resurrection and ascension into heaven (A.D.) Two Thousand and Seven (2007) and we have heard these expressions being uttered even in our times; but what does it relate to exactly.
In our times of the year two thousand and seven, we have had the incredible experiences of being a very advanced race where we have made amazing break through discoveries in the field of sciences and engineering and medicine, and technology we have discovered many new methods of being able to extract the raw materials out of the Earth’s body. And we have made nuclear bombs and atomic bombs and discovered many new techniques of how to help people in all manner of situations, which have been disastrous and at times beneficial to many of us.
But we have never been able to find the place called Oblivion, nor have we been able to find out exactly where in our body is the soul in all of us, nor have we discovered where the imagination is housed either. But we have discovered that it is the soul of mankind in us all that operates the brain and its functions, and that it is the soul in us all that drives us and our imagination and which keeps us alive. So where is oblivion? And how can we get there? Is it a place of healing like a magical place we might see described in one of Walt Disney’s fairy tale movies? Or a place amongst the Irish story tellers or that of the Scots, or of the Welsh, or of the Spanish, or of the American Indian, or of the Egyptian? One can only imagine where such a place might be.
Is it a dungeon where evil deeds are done to each of us? Or is it a place where sorcery is practiced and taught to other evil people and demons, or is it a place where only demons and Satan lives, or is it a place where any one can hide from Satan and his demons, or away from ones other more human enemies? Or is it a place where we can all put on a mask and hide from every one else, every day of our lives, for these are the curious questions that arise when ever we come upon the word ‘Oblivion.’
Can we fore example make a guess at where it is and come up with a conclusive place as to its location and a normal means of how to get there! There may be other ways of getting there, but under what conditions either normal or other wise are we able to find that most unusual place called Oblivion. For most of us may never ever get there. What sort of an effect does such a place called Oblivion have on our human senses and upon the very state of our soul? What measurements do we need to have available to us, which can accurately determine the type of effects such a place called Oblivion has on us, once we are there? And how can any one tell if we have arrived there or not? It is an amazing experience to be able to have ventured into Oblivion and out of it again, for every one to see its effects on us.
Amazing events happen to us or to some one we know every day of our lives, and we are no longer amazed nor do we peer in wonder and awe of such wonderful experiences, when ever such an event occur’s to any one of us, nor to some one we know or have known over the years. To us these amazing experiences are now more normal occurrences amongst us. Some or other the occurrences of people going in to oblivion and coming out of it are quite few in number, and we have not asked our selves, why is this so.
So in a partial way, we have been most neglectful of such an amazing experience which so few of us have experienced, and yet in which so few come out of, once they enter in to oblivion, where ever that place may be in actuality. And as I peeked into the internet library service of the Google system, I only found many an article trying to explain that Oblivion is a computer enhanced novelty game where such words as: asseverate, facade, compendium, sagacity ... are now being displayed as suggestions of what the word oblivion means to others, of our times and I have no idea of what these words mean.
So I will have to check out my dictionary for the answers for this word. I am amazed that such a word as “asseverate” even exists, let alone what does it mean. And the word “Façade” means to cover up some thing you do not want others to find out about, or to conceal some thing, or to disguise some thing so that its true meaning and identity is not soon discovered, if ever, or a smoke screen, to divert direct attention to a given topic or subject or as it was used in my day, way back in the nine teen hundred and sixties, to be known as some one who has put up a false front, a false front; you know, some one who is not your friend, but who is pretending to be your friend - And the word ”Compendium” meant a collection of things which when combined together formed a larger group of things which were meant to create a larger force or energy or entity which represented the greatest qualities of good rather than evil which was described in short form by using the word A COMPENDIUM OF LICENSED GROCERS.
Where as today it means to give a comprehensive and short account of things, and it can mean a collection of things, especially several different board games in one box. But the word “Sagacity” has me stumped at this moment……and in my Thesaurus it now appears to mean such things as: level headedness, rationality, reasonableness, wisdom, prudence, judiciousness and in some way, foolishness. And on the Google site it says this – it is a state of thoughtlessness; state of complete forgetfulness ...and I am curious as to why such words as thoughtlessness and complete forgetfulness are being used in the same context as the words façade, and sagacity, and compendium.
So the word Sagacity has a number of meanings such as this one of, profound knowledge and understanding, coupled with foresight and good judgment; and the word Asseverate comes with an unusual meaning of, to state something earnestly or solemnly. This to me is not a word at all. For the word to assure some thing of its integrity and soundness and worthiness, is the word assurance; or “you have my word for it.” So how can a word like oblivion come to mean a word like asseverate (which is a lie in it self), or sagacity, or compendium, or façade, is beyond me to understand it.
So let us move on to wards the end of this topic. Let us consider that there is life beyond Oblivion and a life much more worthy of being lived in, than that of the place called Oblivion. For this is the crux, and soul of the matter. When ever a particular part of history shows a decline of its values and morals and laws, and family unity and complete unstableness enshrouds them, then many of the elderly citizen’s, and men and women and children, and their philosophers and scientists and military leaders and soldiers, and local police forces, suddenly turn to ways and means in which they can escape their sense of total hopelessness by seeking the land of oblivion in all manner of drugs, and pills and witch craft, and Satanism, and occultism, and all manner of soothe sayers, and faith healers, and so on.
And in all of these things they seek their own form of oblivion, to soothe their souls due to their so called lack of courage to bring about the necessary changes back to godly moral standards and ways of living. For them, there is no hope beyond oblivion, and only in oblivion is there any sense of hope for their damaged souls, and bruised consciences. For them such a place as Faith, and Hope, is too much to strive for. For them it is beyond their energies to want to strive for. Faith and Hope for them requires a new strength, and a new heart and a new soul, and for them to be able to achieve such things is beyond their capacity to be able to achieve for them selves. There is no where that they can run and hide in their oblivion that helps them escape their own sense of guilt and shame for failing to do what is necessary and demanded of them by their own soul and by us and by God. They have not tasted the fruits of this land of Faith and Hope that many of us have, and they are scared to want to trust us, even though deep down in their soul they know they can trust us.
We are their living proof that the Land of Faith and Hope does exist. They see it in our eyes, and in our souls and in our manner. For living in oblivion is more painful for them than living in the world with the rest of us. It is their guilt and shame that holds them back from being with us day by day.
Today and when ever we do our research through our history books, we find out that about every four to five hundred years of our history dating back to our earliest times six thousand years ago, since the fall of mankind in Adam, that each generation of our ancestors since Adam and Noah, that we have gone through one of these periods. Each period is preceded by a certain amount of great wealth and prosperity, followed by an even greater number of people who want to unite all of the people into the world forgetting about family unity and family values and godly moral standards and justice. They want to drive us like cattle into a false sense of a utopian oblivion that never exists, and one in which it can never exist.
Today in the year of our Lord Jesus, 2007 after His death, burial, resurrection and ascension, we are now into our own type of utopian oblivion, where we too are hiding amongst so called great achievements, and great wealth for some, and great things are being built and like as in the days of our fore fathers, we too are scared to want to do any thing about restoring all of God’s Moral Laws, Statutes, Commandments, and ways of life. We too are ashamed of our selves and let others drive us like cattle to the water house slaughter sheds for the sake of comforts and wealth and the idea of safety in numbers for a one world government and a one world unity of all things…or else.
Yet there is still life after this utopian oblivion. There is still that land of faith and Hope, and all it takes is a gradual and constant effort to seek out those reforms that need to be re-instated once more. Because God says that if you are faithful to Him and to Jesus Christ, and obedient to His Laws and Commandments and Statutes and Justice, then He will keep you from falling and keep you safe from your enemies, and that like me and all of His effectually called and predestined people, we too will never need to live in fear nor oblivion any more. He is there just as we are, to let you all know that there is a greater and better life to have and its location is beyond oblivion and out of all of that darkness and He can bring each one of you out of this darkness and into His magnificent Light with hope and faith and love and mercy and charity and justice and thanks giving and blessings galore for ever more.
For Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can come to me except through the Father. In Him there is no darkness, for He is the Light of the world, forever.
Well it is an amazing life I have these days, and I am very thankful that God has given it to me.
