DON’T CAST THE FIRST STONE
The Holy Bible – John Chapter Eight
Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him.
But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord.
And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
As he spake these words, many believed on him.
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Ye do the deeds of your father.
Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.
He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil.
Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Interlude:
When ever we think of wanting to cast a stone at some one, we automatically think of that person of having done such a wrong toward us, that in our estimations that person deserves to be put to death. And biblically any one who does do such serious wrongs by breaking any of God’s Commandments is normally worthy of being put to death. In the Bible as a primary example a man and woman who is caught in adultery is automatically bound over as having been found guilty to suffer the death penalty. The reasoning of this Law and Punishment is so, because for any man or woman who seduces another man’s wife or a woman’s husband away from their marriage vows and from their marital bed, has caused that person to basically kill their love for their wife and or for her husband. So an act of treason is the same thing, fore it has caused the death of the one being betrayed. So to is a case of treason where by those guilty of such high crimes against ones own nation is also to be put to death, for selling their nation in to slavery, after the shedding of much blood shed of the men, women and children of that nation, and this too is a high crime against God’s Ten Commandments, worthy of the death penalty. And a man and woman’s marriage vows before God also includes this statement “If there is any one present here today before this assembly in the eyes of God who has just cause as to why this man and this woman should not be joined in holy wedlock, let them come out now and speak their peace or forever hold their peace, and from hence forth to let no man bring it asunder.” Here again is God’s Supreme and High Court Ruling, forbidding any one from causing their marriage to be brought asunder (effectively destroying it in their hearts, minds, bodies and souls before God). There by putting their love for each other to death at the same time, and that is why to cause a man and a woman to err to sin, to desert their marriage vows even for a little while due to adultery and to fall away from their marital vows before God, is such a Supreme and High Court Case, and as to why it caries with it the death penalty. For God holds His Marriages at such a high cost. And that is why He holds the whole aspects of Marriage as being the ultimate high court case out side of Blaspheming the Holy Ghost and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ; Which also carries with it a death penalty for all eternity.
But who is going to cast the first stone in such cases, where by many have sinned this type of sin in the past? And why have we caused the death penalty to be ruled out of our Laws which it is not lawful for any one nor any ruler nor any nation to do so, because God instituted such Laws, and we are not to cast them aside as if they are of no importance, nor to do so, as if we are god’s unto our selves and can make up any laws to suit our needs on the day. Fore this too is a sin and a lie and carries with it His Supreme and High Court Rulings against such Law breaking.
But who is going to cast the first stone, against you or I? Have you or I committed a crime today worthy of God’s death penalty? If not then why try to bring some one out into the open before God and demand them to cast a stone against them selves…that is really stupid: but is it? And what could be the reason behind wanting to make a person cast a stone at them selves.
It is a fact today that we all have in us God’s immutable moral laws, fore that is why we can understand what is a sin and what is a lie and what is a just cause and what is not and why we should help defend our neighbour against all manner of attacks from invaders, and from with in their own homes and nations. We try our best to be our brother’s keeper in such instances. An old saying is “some one who lives in a glass house ought not to cast stones at another’s, for they would be guilty of the same things” and this too is a constant biblical moral law factor in every one’s lives and in every one of us for all eternity. But who has the right by God’s Laws to try to make a person cast the first stone at them selves? Certainly it should never be any one of us, no matter how pure and innocent we think we all are. Fore that is where we all come short of the glory of God and no man, woman and child is free from carrying that total fallen sinfulness inside each of us from the womb to the tomb, and there after since the fall of mankind in Adam, six thousand years ago; and no one is freed from God’s moral law being in us from the moment God breathed the breath of His Eternal Life into the nostrils of Adam and we in Him became an eternal moral living soul (Genesis chapters one and two – authorised King James Bible), and accountable to God for all of our actions from that time onwards for all eternity.
In the biblical passage above from John chapter 8, there is a scene being enacted there where by the so called religious leaders and rulers of their nation (who were under Roman Empire Military and Law domination) of those times sought many ways to trap the Lord Jesus Christ, so as to be able with a so called clear conscience to put him to death. They were willing to give it a go in many ways, under many disguises and they even brought forth many liars as false witnesses against him before Pontius Pilot (the Roman Governor of Jerusalem and surrounds at the time). Fore Jesus of Nazareth justly and rightly layed claims that He was not only the Last of God’s prophets upon the earth, but that He was indeed the actual equal to God as the only begotten Son of God (the creator of all of creation as we know it, past, present and future), and they (the Pharisees and Sadducees and their kind) sought many ways to trick him and to make false statements before the whole city of Jerusalem, and through out the whole of Israel, and Judea. So they decided to test Him up against one of Moses Ten Commandments to see if He would either pass their test or fail it, and if he failed it, then they would have all of the so called reasonable grounds to put him to death by crucifixion on the cross.
So they went to a known prostitutes house and caught her in the act of adultery with a married man and dragged her to the feet of Jesus to try Him and His knowledge of God’s Commandments which He gave to mankind through Moses, because He claims to be the last prophet before the coming of their long awaited messiah to free them from Roman occupation and to make them a free and independent state before God from then on. So as they drew nearer to Jesus of Nazareth (the one and only begotten Son of God) they also brought this adulteress in front of them and cast her down at His feet, so He can judge the situation according to the Laws of Moses. So as she was laying sprawled out on the ground at His feet they badgered him many times with many words to try to get Him to judge her as God would judge any one caught in such adulteries and Law breaking of God’s Commandments to then condemn her to death ; such as “They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him.” (meaning get the good’s on him to have him brought to trial and hopefully to put him to death). The problem here being is that they had known of her life style for a very long time before hand and had never done anything about her in the past years till now. And because they use the word ‘MASTER’ while addressing Him publicly they are giving Him a title which He says He was given from God anyway - to actually be sneering him to his face as if only he could read the thoughts of their hearts – which they thought that he could not – but in fact He is always able to (because He is God incarnate, the Three in One and creator of all creation and mankind as well), and had done many great deeds and miracles all over the place by this time and because He was a great oralist who knew the Word of God extremely well – perfectly well – and had taught them the Word of God and as to its proper application for a long time as well, which none of them could fault Him in any way, and because the word Master, was only used in deference to one of God’s holy prophets or of a well liked and respected ruler and teacher amongst them, and because it is a word that denotes a high ranking office in their midst, so that such a Master would have the ear of the rulers of their nation, and of God and could persuade their rulers to do things God’s way, which was to protect them all for the rest of their days.
But as we see in the scene being played out before us in the Bible passages above, we see that they could not conceive any such possibility that God would come amongst them in the appearance of a man and also because Jesus of Nazareth as God incarnate in mankind, did not have the appearance of being such a man for he was a man of no notable physical strength neither did He come amongst them with an almighty and powerful Army, to do battle against all of their enemies for ever more, neither did He look the part of a conqueror, for He was known to have been born and raised as a common man and as a carpenter (Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and He sat down, and taught them) amongst them.
Now this is not the normal works nor manner of a great general at arms waiting to rally the citizens around him to take up arms and follow him into the battle to free their people from slavery and domination fore ver more – this man Jesus of Nazareth who had appeared before them did not even have the form and manner of a prophet that God would have sent in the days of old. No, He was known to have been born in a manger in Bethlehem, and had lived as a Nazarene from birth, which was a very poor country and a very poverty stricken country as well and a nation of crude behaviours and idolatries.
The main thing for them was to capture Him through their subtilty into breaking with the Laws of God, so the whole crowd was gathered all around Him and at His feet was this prostitute whore, and they were demanding that if He actually knew such laws then He had to find her guilty and condemn her to be put to death. So they stood by trying to get his attention as if to say “here you go mate, you reckon you’re the big and high minded prophet from God, well here’s your chance to do your stuff – we dare you to find her guilty and sentence her to death;” But they were seeing Him only as a man only and only as a false prophet as well and not as one being sent by God (Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not). And even though Jesus of Nazareth was without sin and perfect before God and before His Laws, He could rightly have judged her guilty as they had hoped and planned He would – but He did not cast the first stone, because as a man born under the law as we all are, no one of us is without sin being in them, and especially of the crime of unbelief and as being children of darkness till God in His mercy draws His people out of darkness and makes them over into His Children of His effectually called Light in Jesus Christ’s name – but I must move on – and Jesus is God who had come amongst them with the full assurance and believe in Himself in God and in the Holy Ghost.
But these things they could not see for them selves, as they could only view Him as an ordinary man and a false prophet too. So what did He do in this instance, He refrained from adjudicating officially in this matter for the time being, and He stooped down and had nothing to do with judging her as they would want him to, so he did not stand before them in His official judicial Godly position, nor as being of any one in high authority because they did not regard Him as such – so he played it their way as if to say to them by his stooping down “you already have decided in your hearts and souls and minds that I have no authority from you nor from God to judge her, so why should I judge her according to the Laws of God that Moses delivered to the world, when you don’t even respect Me for who I am and for who I say I am – so I wont have any thing to do with this matter – it is about the laws of God as you see them, and so I leave it in your hands, lest I judge you according to the Word of God properly and you will be found guilty of many worse crimes than this woman has been doing before this moment.”
So He stoopes down in front of them and pays them no mind, in any form of official capacity. But this only upsets them and they become more determined to get is attention to respect them in an official capacity and to use His so called official capacity to judge this situation according to the Word and Way of God, as they are supposed to be the official leaders of God’s people in the world and have the right to demand of God to do things their way all of the time and that He would be glad to serve them in this matter according to their spoken demands and sinful hearts desire (So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her). Eventually though as God rightly being in Himself He decided when it was the right and just time that He would take a hand in the matter – and so He now raises Him self up to stand before them as the great High God in His Official Judicial Capacity as the only true begotten Son of God, as being the highest authority in the land and in all of creation, in every nation, and above every nation, so as to take the Seat of Authority before them and to judge the situation rightly and justly (of which they had no true understanding of that was what He was about to do to them all), for He then stood up and looked every one of them in the eye and judged them thus “said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her” which is not what they wanted from Him at all, for they were not there to be judged by any man, least of all this man whom they wanted to put to death anyway. But His conviction upon them stood firm and one by one from the eldest and most high ranking officials amongst them to the youngest amongst them went away ashamed and could not meet His eye from that moment onwards (And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst). And then after He had used His Official Judicial Capacity properly, He then once more stooped down and left off His Official duties for the time being and once more, began scribbling things in the dirt with His fingers.
And again He was left with the woman with another kind of crowd coming forward wanting to be in attendance to hear His true teaching and treatment and possible judgement of this vile woman’s sinful nature and practices and in a short space of time He stood up again in His Official Judicial Capacity and Judged her in true accordance of God’s Commandments (for there is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost in Himself as Jesus Christ being present in Him at all times where ever He went upon the earth), and he said to her “Woman - where are your accusers, and has no man come forward and accused you this day?” (When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?). For she was actually guilty before God in Himself for the life of her crimes she had been living for a very long time before hand as she had been rightly accused by the Pharisees and Sadducees a short time before, and had certainly deserved the death penalty according to His Word, with in The Ten Commandments. But Jesus required of her to give an account of herself right here and now as to why she was before Him in His Judicial Official Capacity as God in man, and then she said there is no one here to condemn me Lord ( She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more). And as Himself as the Chief High Court Ruler and Judge and God of all creation knowing that she is guilty of all crimes under heaven, being worthy of the death penalty, and then in those seconds directly afterwards of her answer He not only found her guilty, but He also fully pardoned her and justly and rightly said “Then neither do I” and He commanded her as God in Himself to “Go and Sin No More.”
But there is more to this than meets the common eye, for God in Himself has done a peculiar thing here, fore not only has He fully acquitted her of her serious crimes which carry the death penalty, he has also set her free from such law ever being brought up against her in the future because as God in Himself He has said “Neither Do I,” which carries with it, an eternal decree that He has white washed her sins completely away, from out of heaven and out of the earth as well and has restored fully to her, her record and her name and her character to a new clean sheet, and has given her His Faith and Word to Go and Sin No More, which completely covers any of God’s predestinated and effectually called chosen people from the works of the Law from that moment onwards. Because in the rest of the Bible passages above Jesus (the Christ of all of His predestinated chosen people), goes on to explain more about these things – if only the people have the ears to hear with and the eyes to see with: And as in the wedding vows The minister adjudicates in this matter before God and says “if there be any one present today who has just cause as to why this man and this woman should not be joined as one in the eyes of God, let him come forward and speak his peace, or forever hold his peace, to let no man bring it asunder, from this moment onwards.” Which means that regardless of each man and woman’s previous past which might have been a bad past, and one not worthy of allowing that person to marry an innocent person, and to possibly hide away from a possible prison sentence, which may or may not be carrying the death penalty upon it, that, their past from the moment of being joined together in Holy Matrimony before God, is to be totally forgotten about and never spoken of again, lest that person be guilty of similar crimes which still carry the death penalty upon it, and would be upon them from the moment they speak out against this married couples previous past, by trying to bring it asunder – there by being guilty of trying to kill them and their marriage before God, who has joined them and forgiven them their past in such instances. For they are no longer two previous lives, but one brand new one, joined together in the eyes of God fore ever more.
This is an even more imperative clue and just cause, as to why when God calls out His people from darkness and finds them guilty and then forgives them their trespasses against Him and against their fellow man, and totally blots out their former life, forever more, and brings them to works of Repentance and Faith in Jesus Christ His only begotten Son who in the fullness of time fills them with His Holy Ghost, completely Justifying them fore ever more, brings with it His ultimate authority and power and might, and judgement that No man made Law the world over can ever hope to over rule, nor under mine, nor cancel in any way shape or form at all. It stands for all eternity, for those who come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ’s Gospel and Repentance and faith filled life in Him only and who are baptised in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, and filled with the Holy Ghost, by His Word Alone and by His Faith Alone (Fore no one can alter His Laws in any way nor dictate the terms of His Laws to Him nor to His people at any time). They are His fore ever to have and to hold and perpetuate in the world and in His people for all eternity. So that all may have hope of perhaps receiving this most blessed free pardon from God in due course of time and events in the world around each and every one of us, according to His Blessed Word in His Holy Scripture.
But fore those who refuse to accept God’s Word and eternal Moral Judgement in these things according to His infallible and incorruptible Word, and try to make Laws and decrees which attack and try to undermine His Justification of His effectually called and chosen people by His Faith Alone and by His Word and power and Authority and Just Judgement and Righteousness in each of these things - is guilty of Blaspheming against the Holy Ghost and attempted murder of God’s people as to want to attack His Marital Vows (through His Justification and Mediation and Faith Alone), which He has bestowed upon His predestinated chosen people whose names have been set in the Lambs book of Life for all eternity, since before He created all things, without any merit or works of ability and capacity being in them at all (for no one can come to God and want to be repentant and try to believe in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with out first of all, God drawing them to the light, to bask in it for a while and until He sends into them from on high - His Holy Ghost), which is the final sign and seal that he and she are one of God’s Elect whom He has listed in the Lambs book of Life, and who are now called out of darkness once and for all time and are truly an Heir to His Throne in heaven as they are on earth till that last day in which is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, to raise and judge the quick and the dead for the final time.
So it is a free gift from God in Jesus Christ, because NO, Man, Woman and Child in the womb to the tomb and there after could ever bring them selves out of darkness and make them selves available to God to get Him to put their names in the Lambs Book of Life, so that they might escape His final judgement and wrath and eternal hell and damnation if they are already set for it since before the beginning of time.
So if Jesus Christ as Himself incarnate as God in Himself and as The Holy Ghost in Himself, asked this vile woman ‘Does no man accuse you?’ And she answered ‘There is no man to accuse me’ - Then why do we want to try to make each other want to cast the first stone at our selves? Can we be God and are we gods unto our selves to declare our selves infallible and incorruptible and able to judge our selves as having no sin of unbelief in us since the fall of mankind in Adam? No, of course we cannot make such declarations before God, nor before each other. That is silly and a lie. Can we cast our past lives for ever aside and declare them to be as clean as snow – in heaven and in the earth as well? NO, or course we cannot do such things – but God can and has done so, since before the begining of time and creation; for as many who have come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their only Saviour, Mediator, Justifier, and God, whose names are in the Lambs Book of Life, and are declared righteous before God, and have been baptised in His name and that of the Father and that of the Holy Ghost, as well, for they are beyond the Law from that moment onwards....(1 John chapter five – Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood.
And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.
There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen).
So there is No Point of Law any where in the world nor in heaven that can make or bend or corrode the effectiveness and power and authority of God’s Holy Word and Law and Judgement and Righteousness nor the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in these things. Fore it is imperative for all of God’s effectually called people who have so far been called out of darkness from under the Law and chosen, predestinated since before the beginning of time, and in the times to come, until the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to stop trying to make our selves cast the first stone against our selves. Fore this type of madness and backsliding God is for ever wrathful against – fore God knows that the heathen do rage and spend them selves in many vain attempts to go against His Word and His Laws and Justice and Righteousness and against His only begotten Son and against the Holy Ghost and against His predestinated people all of the time in every generation of mankind since the fall of mankind in Adam “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us – He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. Psalm Two).
And yet there are far too many people in this world who make a profession of professing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and Justifier and Mediator - who do want to make sure that every one of God’s elect continue to try to cast the first stone at them selves many thousands of times over and over in their lives and go about declaring ungodly and unjust new laws unto themselves, that it is a law breaking thing for any one who refuses to cast the first stone at them selves upon each and every instant it is demanded of them by these unjust and ungodly others, and that the punishment for those who refuse to be obedient unto these their new laws, is that such as they (we who can never submit to such ungodly man made laws) can never be allowed to do any form of service work in God’s House amongst God’s people nor in the world in His name, nor be allowed to hold any ministerial and pastoral and teaching office in God’s house or in the world either.
They do these things because they have blinded themselves against God’s Word, for their faith is not that of being by His Faith Alone in the Lord Jesus Christ – making themselves outlaws against God’s Word, that He is not their Saviour Alone, nor their Justifier Alone, nor their Mediator alone, Nor their God Alone in His Word Alone, by His Faith Alone, by the power and authority of the Holy ghost Alone - and these blind leaders of the blind, make themselves so, because they fear the exasperations and torments and rejection of those still in the world if they were to be standing fully and firmly upon the Word and Gospel of Jesus Christ. But God’s people know this (Psalm 3 - A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absolom his son - LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah). For where does it say in His Word “A repentant sinner who has been saved by His Faith alone in Christ alone has to provide any kind of evidences of their past sins before their leaders in their society and to those elders in authority above them before they are allowed to do any kinds of service work or to hold office in His House Hold and in His world” – fore this is the subtle lie of Satan’s which lingers deep within their souls and it is to be stood firmly and resolutely against with in His Church as we must do so from those out side of His Church and House Hold. For God’s people can call upon the Lord saying thus of them and for ourselves (Psalm 5 - To the chief Musician upon Ne-hi-loth, A Psalm of David - Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. And in Hebrews chapter 2 - Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Therefore it is ever apparent before God that for any one to cast stones at them selves, is a foolish enterprise, and not to be entertained neither committing one self to doing such sinful practices against God’s Word, Commandments and Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. For where is ones faith if it is not backed by works meat worthy of that Faith, because Works without faith is dead works. But works by Faith, because of Faith, is works indeed in life eternal, which brings about many fruits of the Spirit in them because of their works by His Faith Alone. There fore any one who is guilty of such trespasses against God in these things in committing every one and them selves to casting the first stone against them selves and each other, is guilty of high treason against God and against His effectually called and chosen people. They are to be marked and pointed out accordingly and rebuked and even cast out from amongst us, for a season or permanently when necessary according to the Word of God. And that police checks are not for God’s people to have to submit themselves to, to being involved with inside and out side of God’s Household. So stop demanding these trespasses to be laid upon the consciences and hearts of God’s predestinated and chosen people. And stop persecuting those of God’s Elect who biblically and doctrinally refuse to submit to your authority and man made laws on such ungodly trespasses against His Word and Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews chapter 4: Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief). Amen.
Interlude:
Christians after all are supposed to be men and women of great spiritual discernment and staunch defenders of God’s Religion and Faith, and Gospel; and more so are the Elderships and Ministers within the Protestant Apologetical Reformed Christian Faith, to be doing these things even more so than the rest of us. Many times over they preach from our pulpits how to be stead fast and true to God and to His Commandments, and how to be disciplined in ones self, on how to front up when ever any of us do the wrong thing towards others around us…but here we see them, in actual defiance of the very same biblical doctrinal codes of ethics and commandments they tell us we should all be defending all of the time.
When will they ever front up and admit their wrongs and the harms they have caused many of us to do, in bending the knee to Baal in these things, just like they are doing them selves? Ha, that’s a laugh…I believe that their pride and ego is far to big for them to ever over come their fear of the world in which they too live. Because they have too much to lose. As Ministers of God's Word and Sacraments (I mean the men who do these works - for women should never be doing the works of one of God's Ministers and Elders), Their jobs are basically for life, and they have a steady income over that same period, and they have wivwes and children who look up to thema nd damier them alot, and they have homes and financial wealth of sorts,a nd they have a lot of material wealth as well. So they have a lot to lose if they cand ecide whose side of the bread of Life their butter is on, and can decide to over come their fears of the world and of their own pride and ego, to come out and admit that No Christians should ever be caught practicing these man amde legalistic Police Check laws.
As for me, I have little to lose...I have no children now, they are dead. I have no wife, she too is dead...I have little money left, and little material possessions...So in many ways I have nothing to lose except my skin...and God has given me a solemn promise that He is going to give me a new one later on...so I have nothing to lose. So I can boast as much as I like...
but I do no boasting...My life is as nothing if I have given up the very foundational stones upon which Jesus Christ's Faith is built on and based on, in His Holy and Divine Word from the book of Genesis through to the end of the book of Revelations in the Authourised King James Bible, and the Biblical Tenets held with in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
It would have been better for me, if God have never brought me out of darkness and let me die in my old life, unsaved, seventen years ago, than to awaken me and judge me and find me guilty and then pardon me and then fill me with His Holy Ghost from on high, so that I could have stayed dead and not really knowing of this other life adn of God's eternal judgement, for His People to end up in heaven with Him and Satan's people to end up with him in eternal hell and damnation...than it would be if I were to now, go the way of the world in these things, and bend the knee to Baal in any of the least of these things, knowingly, and unknowingly...for I can never say to God "ooopppsss! sorry God, I did not know I had made this kind of a mistake against you and the Holy Ghost and your Word! ooopppsss, sorry! forgive me huh, pretty please...! No this is a lie.
And neither can any one who calls themselves Christian, and more so for those from with in the Protestant Reformed Faith who hold the Office of being His Ministers of His Word and Sacraments. How about you?!
Sincerely, The Old Man.
