todays ed is bad ed

October 16th 2006 03:46
Well what do you know, some one with an opinion about our so called brilliant education system here in Australia...smile...Well I will not bag it too much nor for too long; But I wonder what has happened to it? It appears to me, that when education was first being
taught anywhere in the world, especially to the masses, like us, we had no idea of what a spoken word looked like in the printed form, and not even in the written form.

From my own research, I have found out that in Scotland way back in the mid fifteen hundreds; that a Protestant Reformation Christian who had been exiled by the witch of a queen way back then, for talking out about the ungodly preligious practices she wanted to have running her so called empire.

She was really a Roman Catholic to the hilt, and anyone who spoke out about the Pope or his church,
was in deep trouble, even death followed swiftly after you; and if you were ever caught you were put to death in very horrible ways.

Anyway, this man John Knox had seen the corruption that was happening all over europe; in that only the wealthy had the right to give their children a private and well educated education, and that it was within the power of the Roman Catholic Pope and his church and the rulers of the surrounding nations as to who and when and how much education anyone could have and should
have.

But by the efforts of John Knox who saw it happening in Scotland and England, Ireland and Wale - he decided to go ack and create a reformation against such tyranny and began the first Church run school - to teach anyone who wanted an education regardless of if they could pay for it or not with in his parish in Scotland.

As his instructions and wisdom took root locally, so others spread the good news elsewhere across the land all over Scotland.

But first he taught every one the Scriptures as they should be taught; while at the same time he established church schools as time went on.

Later on church schools took root in England and all over the place; but as was usual the government and the Roman Catholic Church/Anglican Church of England took it upon themselves to take over the running of such places, and produced certain laws to make it so.

This story is not about what happened and how schools came into existence; but what we wanted as parents for our selves and our families and our children to learn.

It had become necessary to teach everyone even our children all about God and salvation and Jesus Christ; and the forgvieness of our sins, past, present and future; and of how God went round about doing it and how it can happen to those who are of God's efectually called, elect, predestined and so on.

And of how can relieve us from the bondage of our corrupted souls/natures/characters and so on.

But it was also necessary to teach every one including our kids, how to read and write and do basic mathematics, and eventually higher mathematics to those who showed the ability and desire to want to learn more.

And we expected our teachers/ministers/edlers of the True Church/ The Reformed Church/The Protestant Church, to help teach us and our children, such things as better manners, better morals and decency, and the proper use of right and wrong, good and bad, yes and no, and respect for our elders and for the law, and so on;

Plus, how to identify a liar of the truth and who to avoid when it comes to bad behaviour, bad companybad language, thieves,
murderers; homosexuals, lesbians, wife bashers, molesters, rapists, prostitutes and prostitution, witches, magicians, witch doctors; heathens; alcoholics; grug addicts; pirates; smugglers; bad businessmen and women; rosicrucians, roman catholics, islam, free masons, arsonists, slave traders, land grabbers, arminians, mad scientists, unlicensed doctors, grave robbers, and so on.

What standards are we and our children being taught in our schools, tafe's, colleges, and universities today? and why?

What has happened to true Christian Protestant Reformed teaching being taught in our schools? what has happened to continuing on teaching our children to be aware of and avoid bad company; lesbians; homosexuals; murderers; molesters; pirates of every kind; arsonists; rapists; roman catholics; islam; free masonry; arminians; slave traders; gangs of every dscription; alcoholics; drug addicts; prosititution and prostitutes, mad scientists, grave robbers, and so on?

For example: On the cover of a recent "AUSSIEKIDS - parenting publication" september 2006, which is being delivered to our kinder gardens and primary school kids schools; there is a picture of a gang called "The Wiggles" which, says - celebrate the wiggles 15th birthday!

win: wiggles prizes, cds,dvds,id4me band" and so on - as one or some of them have confessed to being homosexual openly, why are we allowing them to be portrayed as being fit to be around my grand children and your children and grand children?

If we believe we as a nation are going to say say NO! to certain sexual crimes being commited around us;
and that some people in prominent places of influence in the work place and our society, want to establish only one sided laws -
against such things and those who have previously commited them from being employed in our schools and so on -
then why are we being told we must listen to one set of their moral adjudicated laws on such moral issues and none of the other side them - based on what God himself commands we must be obedient to? Because if it is alright to confess ones ungodly immoral sexual habbits - and be allowed to be seen as being decent and honst and trustworthy and be allowed to work in schools -
or be a repectable honest and decent part of our childrens entertainment in our schools and on the television and so on -
then why not the other ones who could just as easily confess their previous or current ungodly immoral sexual habbits and be seen as just as upright, honest, and decent as the rest of them?

If we are going to stand united as a nation and say NO! to just one form of ungodly immoral sexual behaviour -
as being unworthy of acceptance in our schools and in our society, then all forms of ungodly immoral sexual behaviour have to be equally labelled and dealt with in the same manner.

Because if we are not going to abide by God's Laws and Commandments on such issues, now as we did five hundred years ago -
and even six thousand years ago, how can we say, we have progressed morally as a society and as a nation? we cannot, because we have not.

What say you? oh fearless generation?

in faith, the old man.

One might be compelled- seeinfg as you've spent your blog space attacking my chosen porfession, my personal values, and my social groups - to point out that despite your complains that the education system is faulty, you yourself have a post littered with spelling mistakes and gramatical errors.

I don't mean to attack you personally. It's just that those things they say about people in glass houses are true.

Wouldn't all the bad grammar and spelling mistakes be proof of the education system being faulty? LOLz.

I find this article hard to take seriously... as if anyone has never heard of the Wiggles.

And there's so much about teachers being sex offenders, but no mention whatsoever of all the priests out there who do the same thing.

Hello to you young Luke (and Brendon), how are you feeling today? as for myself, I am rather well.

Luke thank you very much for your comments and I will try to see them in the light of what you are
trying to say. How ever, I need to point out that the reason for my article is cnetred around the whole
aspects of the immorality that is rife in our society and homes. If we are going to condem one form of
sexual immorality and not the whole lot of sexual immorality which God requires us to do, then we are
only adding to the deliquency sexual immoral we are already suffering from, within our society today.

This may be too hard for you to understand, especially if you are not truly a Protestant Reformed
Christian young Man; and especially if youa re not used to looking at the deeper aspects of ones
actions to the extent that God requires us all to do, whether or not we are truly of one of God's
effectually called, elect, chosen Christian People or not.

When I say that you may not be able to understand what I am saying, does not mean that you are too
young nor too unwise in such things; it simply means that your ability to do so, is very impaired by the
cankerous worm inside of you and in us all (totally fallen nature); and it is only by those who have
been given freedom from its grasp and power to corrupt, by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost by
Jesus himself, that I and any one just like me, can make the true assessment and judgement to the
fullest extent we can, according to the Holy Bible (Authorised King James Bible).

So please take the time to consider again, all of these things and I look forward to hearing from you
again some time in the future.

bye for now, in faith, The Old Man.

P.s. from the Old Man: Luke, I also apologise for not screening my email better so as to prevent the
simple spelling mistakes that I have made in it.

Plus I hope you will come to see, that if we fail to stop the education department and some of the
teachers in it from trying to influence our children every day and in every way, in our schools to
accept such immoral conduct as Homosexuals and Lesbains live by, as being morally good, rather than
morally evil and to be shunned as unworthy and unacceptable, then we will not be doing our job before
God as brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, and especially not as sound biblical Christian Men
and Women.

It s normal to be tolerant of others, but even that has a limit to which we must never go beyond and God
sets the standard by which we all must live by, whether we like it or not. It really is the easier softer way
of living a godly moral and happier life. How ever, a price has to be paid for the state of our below average
levels of moral conduct and behaviour and licencing, that we allow our selves to practice unchecked
by God's Word and the Ten Commandments.

We have to begin to clean house some where, and for me it has to begin with our schools and the
education department, which has the highest ability to influence our children and our selves, above
that of the law and that of all forms of Media communications and publications and telecommunications,
world wide.

let me know what you think, later on, and thanks agauin for your earlier comments...
in faith, The Old Man.

Hello Luke...well I am glad you got that off of your chest...how do you feel now....?

I have no idea why you commented on my article, other than the fact that you did, and it is customary for most people that when you add a comment to their stuff, you are automatically asking for furtherm comment and at the least a thank you and an explanation.

So I thyank you, and I hope that, you are a better type of man that what you have just displayed to me...

Did you know that as a Muslim man under their Shariah Law, from when he is eighteen, that you can marry four times, and that the age of your wife can be as young as six years old? because that is what their Prophet Mohammed did, whe he first began making a demand on the Arab nation to give his new found religion a go. He married a six year old girl and consumated that marriage when she was eight years old.

And under their Islamic Shariah Law , any one of their wives or all of their wives can be as young as he wants her to be.
But to abide by our Christian Law of being married to only one wife at a time, then must marry at least one woman over the age of eighteen and have that marriage registered as a normal civil marriage, but the other wives do not have to be, under their Shariah Laws.

But here in our Christian based country, God would never allow it, and nor would we ever allow it, as that is paedophilea and child prostitution, and child slavery which God forbids and our normal Laws forbid it as well.

So I thought I would add this comment to you for your interest....Just in case you are not happy with me adding this much information back to you, then I do apologise.

have a great day, Luke....

The Old Man.

Hello Luke, This is the Old Man here...how are you feeling today? Well I am surprised that your comment came abck as "I hope we have the Shariah laws soon" Maybe its time you learned to grow up and accept your statehood as a man and stop behaving like a spolied brat, who thinks he can have his say and way in every thing with out being held accountable for them!

Maybe it is time your parents gave you that well deserved spanking they forgot to give you when you were younger.
Such irresponsible words like yours are not worthy of a Young Man trying to live as though he is a Man.

Well God never lets such petulent words from anyone to go unchecked nor unpunished, and neither will I.
You have lost all creditability with me, so do not bother making any further comments on my blog from now on.

in faith...The Old Man.
